Tiffany Cothron and John Irish interview Mrs. Linda Sanders about her family history and the Celtic influences that shaped her life. Despite her being raised on many Irish traditions, Mrs. Sanders found out at the age of 68 that she was actually of Scottish descent. She speaks at length about how her Celtic heritage has interacted with many of her formative life experiences—growing up in a poor Jewish household in Brooklyn, being married to an air force pilot, facing gender and religious discrimination, relocating to Dunedin, uncovering her ancestry. Mrs. Sanders concludes the interview with a conversation of her current engagements, detailing her recent travels, her political opinions, her relationship with her children, and her involvement in the Scottish American Society.
