I don’t think this is the case, because whenever we have genocides, it is people who are—perpetrators are usually one individual or just a small group of individuals. You have also to know that genocide is possible only if it is the group in power which does it. The twentieth century’s genocides are usually state-sponsored genocides. So just (inaudible) using all the state institutions, governments which are responsible for genocide are able to use one group against another. So in Rwanda, for instance, Hutus did not hate Tutsis as people think, because there was very high intermarriage in the two groups. There was no segregation. People lived together. People have friends from the other group. And also, again, as you know, during the genocide many, many Hutus were massacred because they refused to accept this genocidal ideology. So it’s not, as I said, a group hating another group. It is the people in power who use people in a group to hate the other group. And sometimes people don’t have a choice, because of manipulation, because of force. Sometimes people who are cowards, they accept what the government is telling them to do. But you should not think that people hate each because they belong to different groups. As I said, they are manipulated by politicians, by those people believing in racial or ethnic supremacy and so on.
